The Annual Sports Picnic hosted by Rohingya Canadian Community, was an impressive turnout of over 400 attendees. Both children and adults participated in a variety of sports games, such as sack racing, spoon racing, biscuits racing, pot breaker, women ball passing, fly race and youth long jumping. This event brought community people together fun and excitement for all ages. Many attendees enjoyed, appreciated and wished to attend such event in the future.

The Youth Connection's Soccer organized by Rohingya Canadian Community, is a really joyful occasion for the youths. Teamwork, mentoring, reducing stress, and establishing bonds are some of the aspects covered in this activity. Besides all this, the youths wish to participate in even more games and remain active in social activities.
RCC Skill Centre, which is operated by Rohingya Canadian Community, is currently offering adult English courses at two different locations. The main goal of this project is to improve the life skills of the Rohingya community. The door of RCC Skill Centre is always open for those people who are willing to enhance their education level. The people who join this program will have the opportunity to enhance their English skills in Canadian society.

Ramadan in 2026, Rohingya Canadian Community distributed Iftar supplies to more than thousands vulnerable refugees in Bangladesh camp. This gesture has provided strength and sustenance to individuals who have been forced to leave their native homes and find themselves in challenging situations through acts of kindness and charity of RCC.

This event is a significant gathering organized by Rohingya Canadian Community in order to build a strong bonds and share experiences. RCC hopes to build strong networks that can provide resources and assistance to those in need.

Through this gathering, Rohingya Canadian Community hopes to support each other and work toward common goals.

People are always happy while gathering and it also allows for deeper connection.
The Iftar party of Rohingya Canadian Community is a time for sharing and connecting in order to build a strong unity and reflect the happiness of Ramadan.

August 25th, Rohingya Genocide Day observed by Rohingya Canadian Community of BC. A day to remember the tragic events that saw thousands of Rohingya Muslims attacked, raped and killed by Myanmar military and Arakan Army. Although the genocide has been underway years ago, yet the global community is devoid of proper support and justice. It is a day to remember the ongoing human rights violations and displacement of the Rohingya people. It is also a day to remain vigilant and demand justice for survivors and victims of this genocide.

It was truly an honour to have been chosen to participate in the BC Halal Food Fest, one of the largest and most prestigious events in beautiful British Columbia. This event was not just about food and festivities, it was also a platform for the Rohingya Canadian Community to showcase authentic Rohingya cuisine, culture and heritage. It was an opportunity to share with others about our traditions, customs, and to raise awareness about the struggles and persecution faced by the Rohingya people in Myanmar.
Our dedication as vendors at the BC Halal Food Fest was truly inspiring, and we're thrilled that our authentic Rohingya cuisine was so well-received by attendees. We are proud to share our vibrant flavors and culture with others, and we hope to continue to do so in the future.

Through this event, we were able to connect with other communities and build bridges of understanding and solidarity. It was a humbling experience to see people from different backgrounds coming together to celebrate diversity and support a marginalized community. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such a meaningful and impactful event. We hope to continue sharing our culture and raising awareness about the ongoing crisis in Myanmar through future events and collaborations. We extend our gratitude to the organizers of the BC Halal Food Fest of 2025 for providing us with this platform and for recognizing the importance of inclusivity and representation in our society. We are committed to continuing this important work and advocating for the rights and wellbeing of the Rohingya people.
